The Coffee Table to end coffee tables

Posted by Bravado Living On September - 23 - 2009

This is another limited edition creation by Kacper Hamilton called PARALLEL-SYNCHRONIZED-RANDOMNESS. It’s apparently based on the theory of random things happening in a synchronized manner. I love eccentric pieces of furniture and this table is crazier than Howard Hughes. I love how this piece just seems to twist up into a table, it looks like some crazy math equation come to life as furniture. It’s sleek and subtle while still managing to be fun and wild. The best part of this piece is the fact that it opens up.

This totally blows my mind, I mean what a way to wow your guests.

“Here, why don’t you bring a a little bit of table closer to you so you don’t have to reach over.”  Total crowd pleaser, in my opinion. This table will let you give your living room a slightly different look whenever you please, hassle-free. Sure beats the hell out of Ikea.

Sentryman Black Tie Fountain Pen

Posted by Bravado Living On September - 23 - 2009

This fountain pen by Dunhill is great accessory piece. Getting a great pen is almost like a style panacea, everything it graces just seems more stylish. A few designer pens in the office or in a coat or shirt pocket lets customers and employees alike know that you mean business. They also make great gifts for almost any occasion unless, of course, the recipient of said gift is unable to move their hands or is illiterate.

This particular pen, the Sentryman Black Tie Fountain Pen, is a limited edition by Dunhill, so owning one of these is something not every yahoo on the globe can do, just the yahoos that read our site and listen to our great advice.

A classically British look, the pen is bold, simple, and masculine with some beautiful engraving featured on the tip. Truly a pen for men of a higher class.

Deauville Crest Cuff Links

Posted by Bravado Living On September - 22 - 2009

Take a look at these shiny little wrist adornments, clean and classy. I know I’ve already talked about cuff links, and yes those mentioned were also made by Ralph Lauren, but these are just such an eye-catching pair, I felt I had to share. I would personally pair these up with a slim-cut navy suit, a white shirt, and striped red power tie, and you will command any room. The Deauville Crest lends to the mystere, a  real gentleman’s piece. These cuff links are “exquisitely crafted” from sterling silver and are polished until they shine with a grade-A sheen. This is the type of piece that easily becomes an heirloom, something you pass down to the offspring (hell you can even pretend the crest is your family’s- even if it was probably mass produced in China). These are great  for weddings gifts, and leaving on someone special’s night stand you devil.

Time to put your pokerface on

Posted by Bravado Living On September - 22 - 2009

A game of cards is one the best ways to get away, catch up with old friends, and get some extra spending money all in one night. It’s an easy opportunity for drinking and humiliating one’s friends, two of my personal favorite past times.  There’s nothing better thank drinking some good beer, cracking jokes, and winning money, even if you’re just playing for “fun” (right). Get an easy psychological edge when playing your buddies by stocking up on professional poker gear, and I don’t mean nudie cards(though always a plus), I mean something like the official World Poker Tour luxury poker set. That way when you start winning, your friends wonder if you’ve been watching ESPN poker tournaments and reading up on card counting.

Rugby ala Ralph Lauren.

Posted by Bravado Living On September - 21 - 2009

Despite the fact that I don’t play Rugby or know enough about it to have a conversation on it for longer than a few minutes, I do know that a rugby shirt is a great addition to any man’s wardrobe.  What’s great about rugby shirts is that even though they are a sporty piece of threads, they don’t make you look like you are ready to sprint and tackle.  In fact, they’re pretty versatile when you wear it properly. You can layer that rugby shirt with a sweater or a vest to get a different look going on, they look great with pants or khakis, you can pair them up with shorts for those days when you spend long stretches in the outdoors. Another great thing is that the more you wear your rugby the better it is going to look.

This Classic-Fit Pieced Rugby by Ralph Lauren is a great article of clothing.  The shirt is a 100% cotton and has a plethora of neat little extras, such as an embroidered applied “3″ crest accents on the left chest and a jumping horse and rider embroidery and jockey team verbiage at the right chest.  These smart-looking stitches are inspired by authentic jockey silks. Quality is insured since Ralph Lauren didn’t slack on the labor, I mean the embroidery at the chest alone includes 40,600 individual stitches.
